We designed Vybaa with accountability in mind—and that includes how we treat your data. This policy explains the information we collect, why we collect it, and how you stay in control.

1. What We Collect
We collect the minimum information needed to run Vybaa and power social streaks. This includes account details (name, email, avatar), streak activity (habits, participation logs, earned points), and basic device metadata for diagnostics. Optional data—such as profile bios or social links—is always clearly marked.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data keeps Vybaa running smoothly. We use it to create and manage streaks, send reminders, calculate progress, and surface social interactions you opt into. Aggregated metrics help us improve the product, but we never sell personal data or share it with advertisers.
3. Sharing & Visibility
You control who sees your streaks. Private streaks are visible only to invited participants. Friends-only and public streaks display limited profile information to keep everyone accountable. We only share data externally when required by law or to enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Data Retention & Security
We retain streak and account data as long as you have an active Vybaa account. You can request deletion at any time, and we remove associated records unless retention is required for legal or operational reasons. We safeguard all data with encryption in transit and at rest, plus continuous monitoring for threats.
5. Your Rights
You can access, update, or delete your data, export streak history, and opt out of marketing communications. To exercise these rights, contact us at vybaa.app@gmail.com. If you are located in a region with specific privacy regulations, we honour all applicable requests.
6. Updates
When we update this policy, we will post the revised version here and update the effective date above. Significant changes generate in-app notices or email alerts so you can review them before they take effect.
